6 days to go.

To the left are some pictures from the Bonfire Going Away party from last Saturday.

Life is GOOD. Too good even.

Right now it's 12:28 PM September 17 2004. 168 hours from this exact moment (one week) I will have landed in Washington D.C. and I'll be chatting it up with a really amazing friend of mine, Corena Howe.

It's funny because this chick traveled around the world for half a year and the whole time she was gone, I was comforted by the fact that she'd soon be back for an adventurous summer here in Portland. But, because she's so kick ass, she managed to land a job in Washington D.C. what seemed like moments after her coming home. But life's funny that way, you never know what's going to happen. And I have a really great excuse to visit Washington D.C. on my way to Paris :) So no complaints there.

A few of my friends might kick me in the butt for this, but this paragraph is going to be really sentimental. I've just been really blessed with so many supportive and loving friends and family. I hate to admit it and hopefully they will never read this: I will really miss all my family, my Mom, Dad and T-bone, Grandma, Grandpa. It's really because of all them that I even have this opportunity in the first place. I've been so lucky to have friends who love me unconditionally even when I screw up, I'm lucky to have people that have been in my life for years, I'm lucky to have reconnected with some really old friends and even made a few new good ones, I'm lucky to have people who "get" me and all my quirks and who will be there (and have been there!) through it all. I guess I just got lucky :) So thank you. You all know who you are and I will miss you so much.

But hey, enough of that.

So, I finally figured out how to get the blog out of Spanish. Or that is, at least what you the user sees is in English. The inner control panel is still completely in Spanish and I still have no idea how to change that at all.

In the last picture just up above, you'll see that the person who made the cake wrote "Bon Voage". I'm afraid my French skills at this point aren't much better...

Finally, I failed miserably at getting the pictures in this blog to be all the same size. So I'm giving up and will just post pictures evenly sized in the future :p
